My Philips Interview Experience

So let’s crack down the my interview at Philips.

In total, there were 4 rounds, and it was an off-campus opportunity

1st Round was the Online assessment difficulty level was medium to hard it was divided into sections 2 coding questions one was on DP and the other was on Tree medium to hard followed by questions from Operating Systems, DBMS +SQL queries, OOPS, and Computer network overall those who’s having the basics clear would only be able to solve the DSA questions.

2nd Round here starts the main content it was the 1hr interview but mine was extended to 2.5 hours for the 1st hour I was grilled a lot on the OOPS concepts have to say if you are just a little bit even weak on the OOPS concepts then its nearly not possible to pass this one, the person who took the interview was an Architect and rest 1.5 hrs i was asked to design uber i did it in 30 minutes rest was followed by a lot of cross questions after all the questions my interviewer himself said you’re damm good at your basics all the best for the next interview I was quite nervous but after his words I got happy.

In 3rd Round, I was asked 3–to 4 complex SQL queries and what projects I have made and he asked me to explain normalization and indexing after that he asked me to open my GitHub and show the projects since all of my projects were deployed he was so happy to see and then he asked me to show my best project and then he asked me few questions based on that project even asked me to write the API logic again I was given 30 min ended up doing in 5 min, yes Pretty fast that why he got impressed as well and I asked for the feedback felt like I was getting some negative vibe but that was a mature expression that comes with years of experience but I was passed in this round.

4th Round the round to bluff around This was aHR round where I asked a few basic questions and told me about the feedback that she received from past interviewers It was a big yes from her side and her words were “You have your basics on the right place as I can see and same feedback was shared as well”

Result I got selected 🥳
